Well, it is pretty obvious that I like cats, I grew up in a family that always had pets - dogs, cats, budgies, a parrot (briefly - his language would have made a navvy blush!), even ferrets, though they worked for a living.

The family’s love for animals still goes on: the present generation has dogs, cats, horses - and my cousin Gary has taken it as far as opening a rescue centre for birds of prey and reptiles
